By my own fair hand

Today I have entertained myself hugely by making myself a bum bag. Less entertaining was the three goes at making the lining work but once that was done - pure satisfaction. I then behaved like a 2 year old by proudly wearing it for the rest of the day and putting a few of my belongings in it. Made me laugh and my housemates question what on earth I was doing when (as Will pointed out) I already had pockets.

Then I cut back a big rose bush in a howling gale- not really the weather to do that in. Played games, had an early dinner (last of the hogget) and went and got buffeted by the waves a bit.

Last week of five days next week then a few spots of days off coming up. I’ve worked EVERY DAY in June! After the lightness of May, it’s taken some getting used to.
