Ringlet

Apparently the Ringlet is one of the few butterflies that is active on dull days, as it's dark colouring allows it to absorb heat.
Apart from a couple of Tortoiseshells and Peacocks when the sun came out, they were the predominant butterflies on today's 8+ mile trudge.
