another nice day outside in the sun. so hot in the garden. dad popped round with an unexpected ‘dad shop’ for us - loads of goodies, sweeties and a chicken, awww. he stayed for a blether too.
bee is stressed with work and was pretty quiet after tea so we forced him to play me at scrabble, probably the last thing he wanted to do. I scraped a win. I’ve ordered him a surprise treat to cheer him up next week - a fresh seafood box from the skye oyster shed...he’s going to love it and I can’t wait to see his face when it arrives. also looking forward to trying lobster for the first time!
