Claude was trying to convince me that it was not him who brought a grass snake into the kitchen and left it for me to find. I live in fear of what is going to turn up next.

A busy day at work. Annoyingly, I did not get everything done. I think I will have to start early on Monday and get going, or do some work on Sunday.

Take away dinner was a treat and a very nice bottle of red wine.
