Busy garden

I was at the allotment early as we had inspections today and I am on the committee so help complete them.  It was quite light touch and only took an hour.  It was quite nice to meet up with the others and it is the most people I have seen in ages!
 
After that some housework, garden centre, dinner, wine ... the usual stuff.
 
Just as we finished dinner I noticed a stunning hummingbird hawk-moth outside the window on my lavender.  I was able to get a photo but it was soooo quick.  It really was stunning.
