lemon + whisky + honey = hot toddy to health

*fingers crossed*

I've been carrying a cold for a long time. I think this is my third one of the season but it may just be the same one in different phases. The man in the corner shop swore by a hot toddy for pretty much anything that ails ya and he's such a kind man that he said he'd have one himself in my honour. What service!

I'm lucky that my head and chest feel foggy but my spirits are fine. We had such a treat yesterday at the Filnhouse watching the last two episodes of Borgen and meeting Birgitte herself, Sidse Babett Knudsen - oooh! We're so lucky to have not one but two fabulous art cinemas.

Ok, I'm off in search of a hot toddy.
