Ray of Sunshine

Lewisia longipetala caught in a shaft of evening sun .... but only because I moved it there!    A plant raised from seed by a friend in Norfolk and brought with me on my travels, it overwintered under glass but is fine outside in summer.  

A cooler, cloudier day ... phew ... much appreciated.  The plumber came and the kitchen is looking much better now that we can return things to their rightful places.   I've finished off by sealing all the edges around the tiles and begun to establish some order in the cupboards.  Another day or two should see things a lot straighter.

Jamie has had to walk a different dog today as Meg is at the vets.   No puppies for her .... but also means a lower risk of some nasty health issues later in life.  She's fine, we'll collect her in the morning.
