Alpine View?

A photo that awakens memories of seeing Fragrant Orchids in the Alps at this time of year.

There were vast numbers of orchids today at Martin Down National Nature Reserve on Hampshire Dorest border, a vast and very special reserve. Marsh and Pyramidal alongside these. Lots of other wild flowers and even a few butterflies. Dark Green Fritillary and Adonis Blue caught on the big camera plus Marbled White and Small Heath on the wing.

A lovely morning outing for me and Meg. The site is worth at least a weekend visit if not longer!
