waiting for spring

Lovely fresh windy day today with blue skies. Took the dogs for a big walk. Although it's still cold there is a sense of anticipation of all the new life coming up in the garden - little shoots appearing all over the place, buds on the fruit bushes, hundreds more snowdrops opening out, and longer days too. Winter has its charm but it's still lovely to see spring slowly coming.
