Beware the flowers

There has been a tree or bush that has been in a pot in the garden since we moved here. On windy days it blows over. I’ve tried in different parts of the garden.
So today I decided to move it back to the corner it was situated in originally. But this time I took it out of its pot & dug a hole planted in the ground.
I had to break the pot to get the root bound thing out.
There plant took it’s revenge on me.
