In The Occupied Territory

I cover the waterfront

Finally managed to get my car back from the garage today. It was actually fixed last week, but the service manager, the only one who was working, cut his finger and ended up in hospital due to the fact it got poisoned. He was supposed to get home Monday, and we drove over, but he emailed once we were there that he was being kept in.
On our way to Cornhill to pick it up, we drove. Through MacDuff. There we noticed that the Seafront Cafe was open.
Take out only. So we stopped on the way home and had our first lunch out for over three months. The owner made us up a nice sandwich each and coffee which we ate by the harbour.
At night I spent my usual Wednesday evening on Zoom Choose Poetry, Choose life gig.
Followed by the Aberdeen Folk Club Covideo slot at ten thirty.
