Definitely Not Swimming

We’re at the summer house! It’s super hot, and this is when we went up to the paddling spot. Mum thought we should cool down in the water, so she went in up to her knees. I stood very close to the water, watching her. Because of an unfortunate series of events, I suddenly stood with my legs in the water too. Up to my tummy. Uh. Oh.

I was so surprised I just stood there for a few seconds before jumping up again. I don’t like water. I don’t like swimming, thank you very much. No thanks. Nope. This long straw of grass needed examining, though...

The rest of the day was awesome! We even had a barbecue in the evening. Yay!
