Whenever mum takes a shower, I sneak into the bathroom just after the water has started running, so she can’t come out. I’m there to check if she has left smelly socks on the floor, because sometimes she does forget to put them with the washing. I snatch the best-smelling one and take it to a safe place to enjoy it in peace. Sometimes there is even playtime with it long after mum is done.

As you may notice, there are tiny pieces of chewed stick everywhere on the white carpet. Mum says things like Why did I get a white(ish) carpet? and I refuse to vacuum every day, with a non-shedding dog in the house.!
