Littleworth Common

This is the pond at Littleworth Common, Esher. I have often driven past and seen this pond in the different seasons - on a very cold day it is almost frozen and looks beautiful with the tall Birch trees framing it. Yet I have never photographed it as it is one of the places that catches your eye when driving past but there is too much traffic to suddenly stop, so it has often been classified as my missed photo opportunity. But not today - today I made the effort to go there, find parking and walk around the common. It is a beautiful spot next to a busy road, worth the stop.
