This week should have been our holiday in Scotland but...

I'm not working today or tomorrow so that we can spend some time together and, today, we planned to walk in the country at Cheesefoot Head. It is on top of some hills so there should have been a breeze to keep the dogs cool but they were clearly too hot so we walked as far as the shady edge of the first field and had our picnic. It was very peaceful watching the butterflies and the dogs could lie in the cool grass. We walked back to the car and took them home then went for s walk at Winnal moor which was very popular with many children swimming and splashing in the river.

Dinner was in the garden in the shade. It's been a lovely time.
