Pizza and Mahler

Easy dinner tonight - ready made pizza from the supermarket.  Accompanied by Bernard Haitink conducting the Berlin Phil, playing Mahler's 2nd Symphony, in the early 1990s.  

We've been enjoying the Digital Concert Hall from the Berlin Phil, and find some of these early recordings from the early 90s particularly interesting, as you can, whilst enjoying the music, also take note of the ageing of certain players.  

Now about to enjoy some of our home grown strawberries.
