Dunham Massey birches

Last Friday I’d booked tickets for National Trust’s Dunham Massey for this afternoon.  Traffic through Altrincham was horrendous so we arrived just after our slot, though there was no problem about getting in.

It was busier than I’d anticipated, but most people were keeping their distance (from those outside their party - though some of those parties seemed much larger than a single household).  I’d not realised the car park was shutting at 4pm on a weekday so we didn’t have as long as we’d have liked so just walked round the gardens.
