Stopping By For a Wee Sip

Dear Diary,

Our drought continues but at least it was a bit cooler yesterday, mid-80'sF instead of the mid-90's.  The grass has turned a crunchy brown but some flowers are still soldiering on and this little Red Admiral butterfly, along with lots of his friends, was making the most of it. I plant only drought tolerant varieties which have the best chance of surviving times like this.  I just had to sit next to the Catmint and wait for a perfect photo op!  Now, rain please!
