Lovely Lola

This morning Danny and I were looking after the 8 kids - both sets of the other parents were leading a funeral memorial. I’m not in my comfort zone with lots of kids, but these 8 were great...it helped that where we were looking after them had a garden. We stayed and had a bite to eat when both couples got back. Then headed to the wake for a short bit on our way home. Ibiza style - wake/pool party.
We were wiped when we got back - it’s been quite a full on weekend.

Today I’m grateful for;
1) Time with these kids.
2) The opportunity to give Dave a hug at the wake.
3) Silver linings of lockdown (which is now officially over in Spain, as of today) creating new rhythms - such as weekly quiz’s with the Hampson family.
