I did my first 11 mile run today. I got to about 8 miles before I really started to feel it so a big improvement on last week. Hobbling around a bit this evening though as my muscles feel tight and eaten everything in the cupboards!

J's dad popped over to see the kids bring cake. We welcomed him in from the cold with open arms (even though he does seem to swear a lot and get a bit shouty as he's losing his hearing).

Had an exciting email today on an unprecedented scale, yet utterly terrifying all at the same time. A local photographer was asking about some possible photography work in the future. This would be a dream come true but I still have so much to learn. It would literally just be a chat at this stage but its still the closest I've come so far. I adore this lady's work and Im sure I could live and breath her work all day.

Back down to earth, I've spent the evening trying to master my Jessops flash gun. its the 360 AFDC, anyone have one? It doesnt have a manual and I've never quite got to grips with it. Seems the same photo, same settings, same subject comes out differently each time...... Back to the drawing board.....If I can get my legs to take me there ;-)
