The Blip taken from the hotel, before we left. Wondering about the Aurajoki river and planning the day to come...
We decided to take a tour around, test the Funicular and visit in Botanical garden of Turku, Ruissalo. A beautiful place, a lot of birds singing there too. And we also decided to take a virtual quided tour, as we walked around in The Turku Cathedral, the main church of the city - founded during medieval times.
A journey home, but we stopped at car rest and had pizza for late lunch. Nice to arrive home, but of course it is good sometimes to pop in somewhere.
There is new shots from our journey here...
After the Midsummer time a new every day life is starting in Finland. The government has informed that the easing of restrictions on restaurants will start on next Monday. So tomorrow drinking will be allowed from 9 am to 1 am. Restaurants are allowed to be open from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Starting tomorrow the indoor capacity of restaurants can be 75 percent of the maximum number of customers allowed. The ban on buffet tables will also be lifted. All guests must still have their own seating area.
(In the beginning of June, restaurants have already been allowed to keep their doors open until 11 p.m., and alcohol has been served until 10 p.m. Customers, on the other hand, have been able to take in half of what is allowed, but now the restrictions are easing.)
