Breezy

Sunday and a day to try to rest a bit more than usual.  We had a slow start, a telephone chat with Dad, followed by a dog walk in the sunshine.  The grasses look beautiful at the moment, so many different colours and textures.  We saw our first marbled white butterflies in this last week.  They like the thistles which grown in the field where we walk Merlin.

After the walk we sat and ate lunch overlooking the garden.  This wind chime was a Christmas gift from my sister and I've hung it on a Christmas pearman apple tree we have in a pot on the patio.  It has been breezy today so it gently tinkled away to us as we sat and ate.  It felt tranquil so I stayed on in the same chair for a few hours and did some anatomy and physiology revision.  Merlin kept me company sleeping in his bed whilst the breeze came in through the open door.
