Father’s Day

Helped Miss PHL make scrambled egg and sausage for her dad’s special breakfast. He’d opened his presents yesterday - a waterproof speaker for the greenhouse and a how to draw mountains book - so today was his card.

We nipped into the city centre to collect the afternoon tea we had preordered and managed to get it without getting caught in the rain.
Home to sort it out and eat whilst we watched Spy - a bit curvy but we enjoyed it. The tea was delicious and we ate every scrap.

I then spent a couple of hours going through old photos and found this one of my dad taken just a few days after his 60th birthday back in 1996 when we all managed to get together to celebrate with him.
It seemed appropriate to post this as my blip today. Miss you dad x
