It had to be Jon

Great day yesterday- started with brunch and a cheeky Bellini at AllBarOne and continued in that vein until we made it to Wembley in good time to see the Manic Street Preachers before the main act - Bon Jovi.

En route to Wembley we took in a few sights - gorgeous pub called the Alchemist near Liverpool st station where cocktails are served in unusual containers - I had a colour changing one which ca,e with two of the ingredients in separate beakers with instructions on which to add first.

We walked down Fleet st and the Strand to get to Covent Garden and after a quick look around wandered into the Dirty Martini which played fabulous music and had happy hour from 3-6 so it would have been rude not to have a martini or two!

Getting to Wembley was easy and we found our seats quickly - quick pit stop for food and into the arena. The Manics were great but Jon Bon Jovi blew me away. He danced round the stage, often looking and acting like Mick Jagger, danced with someone plucked from the audience and sang beautifully.

We left just after the second encore and made it to the tube before the main body of the stadium exited and were back at the hotel by 11.15.

Couldn’t post last night as my phone was playing up.

Thanks fir your continued comments and stars - will try to respond and catch up today.
