A Day At A Time.

The End Of Days

We woke to a new world, one where the State of Alarm is at last over.

But what has really changed?

In theory, not very much. Social distancing and face masks are still essential to maintain our recovery from the pandemic.

In reality, it meant that people arrived in huge numbers to every beach on the coast, ignoring the rules, camping together in large clumps of coloured umbrellas and filling the restaurants and chringuitos to capacity.

I believe it is now down to the individual to take whatever precautions are necessary to prevent the virus from returning and plunging us back into chaos.

We were treated to a wonderful display from a school of dolphins, which was heading past us towards the Strait and the open sea.

I just hope they weren't saying "So long and thanks for all the fish", as they left us to our fate.
