Colourful

I always love Rebekah’s outfit choices - because she chooses her clothes based on what she enjoys! The general principle is, the more patterns and colours, the happier she is. Today was a happy day! These trousers bring back memories of South Africa, she got them when we went to visit our cousins who live there a couple of summers’ ago.

Gratefuls:

1. That God didn’t make this a black-and-white world. He could have, and we wouldn’t have known what we were missing! How wonderful that He gives not out of duty but generosity. That He finds enjoyment in giving us gifts we enjoy.

2. Good smells in our kitchen today - baking chocolate chip cookies, and the smell of new bin bags (is it weird to enjoy that?Rebekah thinks it is!!).

3. Writing cards and making plans for Fathers’ Day on Sunday. I feel really thankful to have the Dad I do. Writing cards for him is no task - there’s no shortage of good words to say about him.

4. A picnic tea in the park with Lucy, Natasha, Hannah and Rebekah - warm weather and warm company :-)

5. Catching up with DTS friends. So many great memories, shared with people from all over the world. Who somehow also share the same sense of humour!
