Emerging

I think this is bindweed or morning glory. There were plenty of these blooming by the side of the road and creeping onto the road (see extra).  
I also included an extra of the takeout window at the Rock Salt. I like the little notice at the top.
I forgot to mention a few days ago that the mystery of the parked car is solved. I ran into the man who lives in the house just down the driveway from where it was parked and asked if he knew the story behind it. He did! It belongs to a wwoofer from Washington State who is working for some people who live across the road. He thought that there were problems with the transmission and that she was probably going to have it towed back to the US for repairs. It's still under warranty. The day after I talked with him, the car was gone. I'm such a nosey Nanzy, but I notice lots of things on my walks and like to know what's going on if something catches my interest. :-)
