The finished chainmaille commission.

This is a chainmaille 'bib' I was commissioned to make for a friend; I started it way back last autumn and kept getting sidetracked by other projects. Thankfully he didn't want it in a hurry!

It's designed to be worn under an open necked shirt, giving the appearance of a full chainmaille vest beneath. The bib is woven from silver-plated copper wire and every ring was handmade by myself. Haven't weighed it yet as I'm cleaning it first, but it's heavy ;)

This isn't my greatest ever photo, but I'm just so delighted to have completed the project I wanted to announce it...
