Wee Smiler !

This is daughter number 1 doing her best attempt at smiling. Her new thing is shouting smelly cheese when you ask to smile for a picture and it seems that it's impossible to actually capture a smile. I kinda like this picture nonetheless, it shows a wee bit of her personality.

Not such good news on the ankle front. It had almost doubled in size overnight. So decided probably best to skip RPM this morning. In 15 months since going to Shona's Sunday Spectacular I have only missed about 6 classes and that's been because I've been on holiday. There is an unwritten rule in my house - nobody messes with Sunday RPM, it's the only class that I refuse to miss all week. I had all those crazy thoughts running through my head; I could go and cycle on one leg, keep my resistance low etc. etc. in the end realised that it would be best just to take a few days off and rest up.

Was a wee bit peeved off however when I got to thinking about it, I have been exercising on a daily basis for about two years now so on the balance of probabilities, I am quite lucky not have injured myself before now.

The wife and the girls were having a sleepover at Gran's last night so I had a wee empty and caught up on some stuff that had been building up on th Sky + box. Loving 'Utopia' - where is Jessica Hyde.............. That and 'The Following' are the two best shows that I've watched since the Sopranos finished a few months back. Glad because the wire is going to be finishing up soon as well. Would be lost without Sky Atlantic!
