Full Nest

In this picture you only see three chicks, but there's one more behind them on the other side.  The chick you see most of is by far the largest.  It was flapping its wings so it will be the first one out.  I've watched the parents feed them and the one with its beak straight up is the neglected one.  It's much smaller and has a bare patch on his neck where feathers should be.  We're keeping our fingers crossed for it.  We haven't heard a single peep from them, unlike the last noisy brood.

Although I'm way behind on a long list, I heard there was antibacterial hand sanitizer finally available, so I ventured into two nearby stores, one being Aldi.  How I've missed it!  But the shopping experience was nerve-wracking and I came home spent.  I  found bread flour and yeast for my dear friend.  It hasn't been on the shelves since February and we were told it wouldn't be until winter. I'm not sure why there's been a run on miso paste, but with three of us looking at different stores, none can find it.  Forget about Lysol in any form as well as antibacterial wipes.

Tomorrow will be a stay at home day except for exercise, so I hope to get better organized around here.  Enough wildness for one week.
