Our cottage from the wood .

I was surprised by this view of the house from the wood. We went for a walk at about 9.45 to look for the barn owl which is nesting nearby . Sure enough he flew quite close to us and successfully returned with supper to the nest several times while we watched and got eaten alive by midges !
Extras from our walk and a hopeless photo of the owl. Tomorrow I will have my camera with me and hopefully get a much better shot.
