Off for a ride (Day 1868)
First job of the day was collecting a load of horse jumps from Stenness with my beautiful wife. The end sections are fairly bulky, but with a bit of thought we got a reasonable number in the van. Down at the hoss field we met Mum and unloaded stuff out of the van. I was too early for the job I had in Stromness, so cleared up the field while Mum and HV got ready to go out on Bessie and George. I knew this would be today's blip as soon as I took it.
The plumbing job I had to do was very quick and straightforward, just as well as it was too warm to be spending much time in a loft.
I zoomed off to Stromness to collect the last couple of bits for the jumps, then delivered them to the field, meeting Mum and HV there.
Home for lunch, then a wander at Wasdale with the woofers while HV was off helping with some other horses. The loch was like a mirror today (extra).
Later, I spent a bit of time trying to tame our hedge.
