Lockdown job 101.
Yet another lockdown job done, although a bit of a bodge job! We've had this dark unit for years, and although at the time we bought it we thought it was such a 'clasic' it would never date - Wrong! We've all got to hate it so I decided to give it an 'upcycling' revamp, and if it went wrong it wouldn't matter. We liked the space without it there, but what to do with all the bits in it? So it went back, and it's passable .... The back and sides haven't been painted, not how I like to do things, but no-one will see!
Ali had her consultation with the specialist today. Surgery tomorrow. Because of Covid the nurse takes her in and the consultation with me is done through a video link. She was so stressed in there she was back out within minutes as the Vet had seen enough to be confident it was a ruptured cruciate. She goes in for surgery tomorrow. Normally they would have kept her there there and then, but because she was so stressed they decided it would be best if I took her in first thing tomorrow and they will examine and do the surgery in one swoop. At least it saved me a nights board, which is equivalent to a 5* hotel. Going to be a worrying day tomorrow.
