Between the terraces

I often pass the end of these two terraces of houses, side-on to the Rochdale Canal.  They looked particularly colourful today.

A first listen to a band - I'm With Her - that features a singer, Aoife O'Donovan, who I listened to the other day. Today's album is See You Around (2018) on which my favourite track was Ain't  That Fine.

Jasper Johns is an American Pop artist, well-known for images of national subjects such as the US flag. His 1958 painting Three Flags depicts three such flags of diminishing sizes layered on top of each other, with a palpable sense of three dimensions.  The flags seem to be made of paper, which is scuffed and marked.  I find this an ironic, not disrespectful but thought-provoking image.
