Moorhen family

I was pleased to see the moorhen family with three chicks, I've only seen one chick for several days so it's good to see more of them have survived.

There was a long afternoon thunderstorm followed by sunshine so it was lovely to sit in the garden with a cup of tea.

The extra is a photo that I forgot to add yesterday. On our walk we saw a grey squirrel with a pale tail,  I'd never seen a two-tone squirrel before!
