ARGH

I don't think I have run across one of these before and I found it hanging out on one of our ash trees. So , I looked it up and if I am correct it is a deer fly. Drat. If I had known that I probably would have squared it because they bite animals and humans. Sigh.  If anyone thinks/knows if it is something else please let me know!
