Getting warm at a distance

Both daughters came in the evening, bringing a takeaway from Dosa Kitchen and we had white lady cocktail. Mr C kept them supplied with beers. It was their last chance to get a break from childcare as both men are back to work now.

It has been murky and mizzly all day so we lit the brazier they gave Mr C for his birthday. It was still light at 10.30 and it was getting light at 3 am last night when I had another bad sleep.

We had a lovely evening - a lot of chat about statues, JK Rowling, face masks, lack of leadership, should #2 daughter go to Ireland at the end of July, how much school work should the children be doing etc etc.

They are sleeping in the camper van, as there is a bed above the cab so it is separate from the rest.
