Monkey Brain

Firstly, thank you all so much for the appreciation and thoughtful comments on yesterday's blip. This place often reminds me there are far more good people in the world than twonks.

The inner monkey was definitely in charge today, couldn't settle to anything despite several projects looming.
Eventually just lost myself in the garden for a while. Pollarded two of the trees, seems to be an every 2-3 Yr job with the goat willows and an every 4-5 Yr job with the Cherry trees. It does seem to have improved the health of both. I saved all the good willow lengths to make garden canes. I could feel my grandfather smiling.

Whilst I wasn't looking the day got nicer and nicer until it just seemed right to go for a wander. Despite how good she is with sheep Missy is a little madam if her nemesis the pheasant or the infuriating rabbits are to be seen, so she finished a walk through the meadows on her lead.
I'm quietly confident this LBJ is a Wheatear.
