"Dandie Dinmont" steamer and dog!

love the name of this North British steamer of 1905 seen here at Craigendoran..... you may just spot part of the name on the paddlebox ....like many of their steamers the name is taken from a character in a novel by Walter Scott....for example others include Jeanie Deans Waverley and Meg Merrilies....extra is a Dandie Dinmont dog but must confess to knowing much more about the steamer than the dog breed!
