we went for a walk! the first since march and it was pishing doon and absolutely glorious. we all love the rain and there was no one else around so we went to the community garden and back. I was pleased not to be out of breath at all...maybe I’ve retained a smidge of fitness. it was weird and yet so normal to be out - peggy said I’d was like being on holiday on the west coast but I think that’s because of the driving rain.
for most of the day we sat at the kitchen table painting wooden eggs I ordered last week and watching tv on our new sky box. it was really lovely to be painting again...still got it and taking advantage of it before next week.
