Whitianga and the Ferry

Off camping for the week down to Whitianga, on the glorious Coromandel Peninsula. Weather forecast looks good. There's a bit more wind about than we'd hoped for, so started our first day with a cycle to the park.

We're proper set up with all our goodies in the new tent. We've brought the bikes with us, and it is nice and flat to get about here. This is the spot where the ferry goes between Whitianga and Ferry Landing. Driving it takes probably around 45 minutes as the roads are a bit of a windy treat.
