Journey Into The Unknown?!

As I was making my morning tea I felt a splash on my face - looked up to see a damp patch on the ceiling! My immersion tank was now leaking/overflowing not just having a run off through the overflow pipe! I contacted The Potters husband and he was right round! He had called round monday and found it was the washer on the ballcock that had gone. Yes my immersion tank is that old it has a ballcock!! Wouldn't you know when I gave him the washer it was the wrong type! With Trewarthas the ironmongers closed on a tues it was a trip to Travis Perkins! With the right one purchased he came back round and all sorted! I gave him some homemade brioche and a jar of my strawberry and Rhubarb Jam as thanks! Then it was a  walk with Oscar to delver Brioche to The Weaver - they are going to give me some of their garden produce in return! It's bartering heaven down in Calstock! I'm rather liking this new way of living - long may it continue!
