Face-off

I haven't captured a juvenile Downy Woodpecker with a parent before, so I was happy to find a pair outside today.  In my extra, the mom has just finished passing a piece of suet along to the youngster (on the top part of the branch).  My main blip is an interaction between these woodpeckers, and a cardinal fledgling.  The cardinal thought the treat was for him, until the baby downy spoke up.
Thank you for your comments on yesterday's daisy blip, and including your thoughts on the Nik software.  So far I've had fun playing with it and I'm pretty sure I'm going to purchase it.  The vignette capability alone is worth the expense to me.
