The Adderstone

A fairly relaxed start after yesterday. I enjoyed a good stretch with Pilates. Managed to get a coat of paint on the kitchen door which looks so much better. It is probably the most used door in the house so was showing some wear and tear. This is the last of my 6 panel Georgian doors that have been painted inside and out.

We travelled to Dalby and just managed our walk before the heavens opened. This is a popular outcrop much enjoyed by adventurous children to scale. Our three loved climbing on it and finding different ways to climb and descend. The rock is Jurassic Sandstone and the holes give it its name although I am yet to see any snakes in this part of the wood....thank goodness!

Home and a few more jobs plus a bit of baking made me feel I had used the day fruitfully.
