Meet the Morgans

By familymorgan

Big day for Amelie today - both of her teams were playing!!
Sadly neither of them won, but lets not go there...

She slept pretty well last night - the inhaler seems to have loosened up her cough only a little but it has made a huge difference to her sleeping and she has been disturbed far less. It was just before Chris came in from work (after 5) that she joined me in bed this morning. Pretty bad timing really because she hadn't drifted off when he came in and got quite excited when she heard the key in the door but she did go back to sleep after he got into bed and we got up at a far more respectable 7.30.

We had breakfast, sorted the dishes and then I decided to dust and polish whilst she played with some spoons on the floor. I can't decide whether her 'spoon family' shows incredible imagination or incredible loneliness? She had fun anyway...

A miracle then happened - I asked Amelie to put the spoons away so that I could hoover and SHE DID! I only had to ask twice, rather than a hundred times which has been the case the past couple of weeks.

The living room tidy, we settled down for some lunch before Chris got up and it was time for the rugby. I'd love to say that they spent a great time watching it together but Amelie wasn't really all that interested, choosing instead to prance about in front of the tv with a balloon much to Chris' delight.

One game over and we walked to Waitrose to pick up some essentials for dinner and it was back for the next one. Amelie requested fish fingers, beans and soup for dinner so that is what she got and she ate it quite well. Her and I shared a bath and then she was falling asleep at 6.10!
