Day 82 - Cycled to Putney.. Norman Parkinson(1913-1990) was a celebrated portrait and fashion photographer. He took photos of Welsh coal miners and their families in late 1930s, models and movie stars from the 1940s and he was the official royal photographer from 1969. The house where he lived until 1936 is undergoing extensive renovations! A series of stamps issued in 2013 included one of the photographer. One of his notable royal photographs to mark the Queen mother’s 80th birthday is the ‘blue trinity’. - see extras
