Its been hot, sunny and stormy outside, so a great day for being outdoors. Fortunately I've had plenty to keep me occupied outdoors like clean the pollen out of the pool but at least I have already managed to complete my tax return :-)
This is the guitar that Chris has been playing exclusively during lockdown because his strat is still in the UK. Its a Gibson Les Paul, for those of you that don't immediately recognise what it is or are not that interested in guitars (and there's no reason why you should be). The large chunk of metal is a Bigsby tremolo or whammy bar.
This is definitely not a picture of a plant or an insect so hopefully passes the Sheol test .... and in case Chris's Uncle sees this, the key thing that will be of interest to him is the weight of this guitar. It only weighs 10lbs. That is seriously heavy for a guitar. Which explains why Chris has been putting on the muscles as he plays it every day during lockdown. Some people need a lighter version of these guitars or they would have damaged their back by now.
Finally, for the photographers amongst you, we did not clean this guitar at all. No carefully dusting this guitar with cloths and aerosols so the end result looks like this and no time was spent cleaning up the picture on a computer.
However a lot of time was save by recycling a similar blip! Thanks. :-)
