Domestic day

A deliberately slow start, I've had some rubbish Saturdays of late and we didn't want to have another weekend of me spending Saturday falling asleep and being over-tired.

So it was shipping this morning, boring but important, then an afternoon of jam making, cake baking and cooking. We're celebrating the husbands tomorrow, so there's a bit of prep for that.

Quote of the day from the eldest after Hermes delivered a package for me. I told the eldest not to tell Daddy it was clothes for me... The husband asked if it was something for him, so the eldest pipes up 'no Daddy, its more clothes for Mummy.... 

Today I'm grateful for:
Lie-in with the youngest (he's highly skilled at this)
Cake baking with the boys
Sleeping boys!
