Emerging or Retreating?

SWMBO and I went out for a short walk this afternoon (after the sun eventually turned up) and came across this female figure stepping into the tree ..... although in the picture it looks more like she is emerging from it. 
There is an old gate post that is crying out to be photographed near the station but I have never been able to see it. However, I may have come close with this or this. There are half a dozen other flower shots over there too.

After making a small box I sent an e-mail to the lathe manufacturer' technical department and let them know about the problem and my suspicions about the cause.

We got a visit from Bags and family while they were out for a walk. I had the monsters go round the back where they liked all the bee houses hanging up. They each chose their favourite and headed home with them.
