Yellow bud

We got this plant from the neighbour who fell ill with Covid-19 half March and whose partner has been in ICU with Covid for 10 weeks, but has now been discharged to rehabilitation. With  4 others we have been cooking for her since her partner was taken to hospital but now that he's out of danger and she will only be allowed to visit him once a week for half an hour she feels ready to take up her own life again. A lovely surprise. Yesterday and early this morning the buds were still fully closed and I had no idea what plant this was. Now that some of the buds are opening the PictureThis plant app has recognised them as Strawflowers :-) Never seen these before and the way the buds open is special ! See the extra.
